Nursing at Saint Luke's

Saint Luke’s is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and quality care by ensuring nurses have the tools and support needed to elevate the patient experience. Saint Luke’s is guided by a strong Nurse Governance program that empowers and supports nurse engagement and allows nurses’ voices to be heard.

Our primary goal is caring for our patients with clinical excellence, as evident by achieving five consecutive Magnet® Recognitions at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City—one of only 50 organizations worldwide to do so. Our policies encourage a high standard of patient care, giving nurses the ability to make a positive impact in their units, hospital, and the health system and profession at-large.

We are more than 44,000 caregivers strong, with 13 nationally ranked hospitals listed on U.S. News & World Report. BJC Health System comprises 24 hospitals and hundreds of clinics and service organizations committed to providing extraordinary patient care, while advancing medical breakthroughs.

Saint Luke’s, a part of BJC Health System, includes 10 hospitals and multiple campuses across the Kansas City region. We welcome nurses from all backgrounds to become a part of one of the largest support systems to advance your career.

As one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, we make it our mission to create the most fulfilling work environment possible.
