    The system Payroll department is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate payment to employees for work performed in their respective positions. The department ensures appropriate practices and policies are in place to drive accuracy and compliance.


    Role Purpose

    Accurately process employee information for all entities, within the scope of federal regulations, to facilitate a timely payroll process. Analyze audit reports to make appropriate reconciliations. Provides interpretations to HR policies, federal regulations and court orders.


  • Process employee information for all entities in payroll and HR system.
  • Analyzes audit reports, makes reconciliations and adjustments, and authorizes and issues payment requests.
  • Serves as a liaison with department personnel within all entities and external agencies.
  • Computes payroll tax liabilities for all entities and authorizes payment.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing payroll information to effectively administer involuntary deductions from pay such as child supports, tax levies, student loans, bankruptcies, and creditor garnishments in a high volume payroll department
