The Shared Services HR team supports management efforts to build and sustain a competent, engaged workforce by providing administrative, operational and consultative support to specific client groups within the Shared Services or Corporate organization.  


Overview


Role Purpose

Provides professional advice, and guidance to a range of internal and external constituencies in support of the organization's Human Resources objectives for BJC Healthcare.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Collaborates with human resources professionals at various levels to resolve matters including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, compensation, or benefits.
  • Acts as arbitrator on policy problems, wage and salary issues and employee relations disputes.
  • Develops the preparation of the Affirmative Action Plan, and oversees the maintenance of key human resources metrics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
  • Coordinates maintenance and ongoing improvement of appropriate human resources communication venues.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of all employee personnel records so that they are complete, accessible, confidential, and meet all appropriate standards.
