The Sourcing Team supports talent acquisition by proactively identifying and engaging talent, while promoting the employee value proposition and generating interest in joining the organization.  The team builds pipelines of candidates using creative strategies including outreach initiatives, social networking, candidate management platforms, and market research. 


Role Purpose

The Communications and Content Advisor will work within BJC HealthCare and BJC Career Brand standards to develop creative content that will support overall BJC Talent Strategies goals and initiatives. Serves as the subject matter expert for all creative content that supports BJC HealthCare’s recruitment marketing priorities. This position will partner closely with internal BJC HealthCare communications and marketing departments to ensure overall brand alignment.


  • Serves as the creative content product manager for the entire Talent Acquisition department to research, select and create all items for recruiting initiatives. Designs materials specific to niche needs within the verticals of talent acquisition.
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing tactics including but not limited to digital/display marketing, PPC, email strategy, CMS management, SEO/SEM, HTML, and social media. Has experience with open source content management systems, HTML and CSS as well as content creation tools.
  • Prepares materials for posting, updating and uploading to website, including laying out individual web pages for each item, combining text with copy, and using styles and page formats for a uniform look. Provides graphic design and content management for all marketing initiatives across all platforms, printed, e-blasts, social media and website.
  • Conducts research, interviews, writes, obtains approvals, coordinates photo-shoots and other production elements, and assists with planning and distribution via appropriate channels including social media, web, traditional media and collateral materials.
  • Upholds creative content, image and identity implementation and compliance in accordance with the system's brand standards and requirements.
