Overview


Role Purpose

Manages teams in assigned clinical services for enhancing patient care, outcomes, and promoting best in class care. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and oversees all aspects of assigned projects. Provides necessary supervision, direction and coordination of business development.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Utilizes key business skills to guide project leadership and team members in achieving the stated business objectives.
  • Develops and executes work plans for strategic process redesign and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Structures and conducts best practice research, process analyses, benchmarking and performance baseline measurement activities.
  • Participates in the development of new business opportunities and leads the implementation of new services
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
