Our Northwest HealthCare campus, located six miles west of Christian Hospital in Florissant, offers the community 24-hour emergency care as well as a variety of outpatient services and physician practices.

The Physical Therapy Department at Christian Hospital is located on the second floor of CH. Services are provided to patients of all ages with musculoskeletal deficiencies.


Overview


Role Purpose

Management of diversified duties within the Respiratory Care and Neurological Service lines. Ensures that all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within area of responsibility meet quality standards and the needs of every customer's expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Manages daily activities of the department.
  • Creates staff schedules.
  • Evaluates, recommend, and implement new services and equipment.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

  • Minimum Requirements

     

    Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • - Respiratory Therapy

     

    Experience

  • 5-10 years
  •  

    Supervisor Experience

  • 2-5 years
  •  

    Licenses & Certifications

  • CPR/AED
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • RRT
