Overview


Role Purpose

The Senior Philanthropy Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing the activities of the Relationship Management Team by engaging donors and community organizations in raising funds and awareness for the Hospital. The coordinator will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This individual will have a strong customer service orientation and will assist team members in meeting the needs and expectations of donors and board members. The coordinator will demonstrate a positive attitude, be a problem solver, and foster the overall growth of the Foundation.


Responsibilities

  • (Operational Excellence) In order to turn information into insights, this role is charged with standardizing data input and output for gift officers. This individual will implement the quarterly moves management, proposal output, and portfolio management process.
  • (Information Management) Develops deep knowledge of donor database input and outputs. Coordinates download needs for gift officers. Coordinate prospect research needs between gift officers and prospect researcher. Uploads and tracks proposals, and actions for Director of Philanthropy.
  • (Solicitation) As a front-line fundraiser, the coordinator will respond to community requests for support in their 3rd party fundraising efforts. This may include personal visits with grateful patient families, attending check presentations, and providing event-related assistance to interested donors.
  • (Relationship Management) Directly manages an individual portfolio of current and prospect donors to the Foundation as well as provides appropriate donor stewardship.
