Overview


Role Purpose

Leads high performing team of utilization managers and coordinators performing new product value analysis, product conversion analysis, and coordinating centralized product pilot evaluations system-wide in a consistent, transparent, and reliable infrastructure of clinical and non-clinical specialty teams.


Responsibilities

  • Develops physician and clinician relationships system-wide to engage in the evaluation and pilot processes for ensuring clinical efficacy of product being evaluated.
  • Collaborates with clinical experts in infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical outcomes to conduct comprehensive clinical efficacy evaluations.
  • Provides oversight and transparency to the organization for consistent, reliable and valid clinical and financial analysis.
  • Develops solid anlaysis and coordination of maintaining the medical/surgical supply chain formulary for system.
  • Serves as single source of entry for all product requests within the system as well as for all supply-related vendor requests.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
