Role Purpose

This position is responsible for the design, delivery, and ongoing reinforcement of training, employee development, and quality improvement initiatives. Reporting to the department manager, the Training & Quality Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and evaluating patient contact touchpoints for the Access Center to ensure consistency with established policy and procedure.


  • Plans, conducts, coordinates and implements a comprehensive training program for staff. Training components will be geared toward new hires, existing staff and individuals who seek one-on-one assistance.
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
  • Prepares and maintains policy and procedure resources; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
  • Lead and support additional special projects, reporting and initiatives of the quality team as necessary to achieve departmental objectives; includes the monitoring, scoring and coaching of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Prepares new representatives by conducting orientation to service processes; providing resources and assistance; scheduling orientation; new hire training, new hire nesting, and supervisor training.
