The Pain Center at Memorial provides evaluation, interventional management and patient education for adult and geriatric patients with severe acute and/or chronic pain problems. A multi-disciplinary approach is used; individual patients may receive care from an anesthesiologist or physiatrist, nursing personnel, physical therapy/aquatic therapy, social services, and behavioral health.

Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
