Overview


Role Purpose

Enters eligible patients to cancer treatment clinical trials, collects and reports data pertinent to the trial, and serve as a resource to the Cancer Center physicians and staff regarding management of patients on the study.


Responsibilities

  • Completes and submits study data to sponsors.
  • Determines eligibility and registers patients for cancer treatment clinical trials.
  • Communicates with physicians and ancillary professional staff the requirements for each study to maintain protocol compliance.
  • Audits and reviews data, resolves issues related to study and ensures state and federal compliance.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
