The GSON Libraries, at Duncan Avenue and MBMC West location, serve to support the College curriculum at all levels undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral, with an expansive collection of online resources, as well as print materials. In addition, the Library supports faculty and student research, providing instruction, reference services, bibliographic research, and classroom support. The Library at Duncan Avenue is staffed 66 hours / week, and online support continues into the later evenings and on weekends. The Library is a member of the MOBIUS consortium, which includes over 70 other libraries, mostly academic and research, from whom Goldfarb users are able to borrow materials.


Role Purpose

Responsible for assisting the librarian in the day-to-day operations of the library.


  • Assists in library operations by maintaining the college library resources and providing quality customer service.
  • Assists customers in the use of library resources, explaining library programs, policies, systems, records, and facilities.
  • Maintains journal subscriptions, collections, circulation of library materials, and data bases.
  • Performs clerical duties and data collection as directed.
