Role Purpose

Responsible for assisting in planning, developing, implementing and measuring the graphic design components of marketing and communications programs for BJC, its hospitals and services as assigned. Takes primary responsibility for designing and producing internal and external communications and marketing materials to support the organization's business and corporate goals and objectives.


  • Creates and produces innovative, effective, high-quality marketing and communications materials that promote readership and help achieve communication goals.
  • Collaborates with clients on the development of graphic design elements of their marketing and communications plans.
  • Assists clients in identifying marketing opportunities and contributes to communications media selection.
  • Directs image and identity implementation and compliance in alignment with system's graphic standards.
  • Consults on communications budget and recommends, selects and coordinates suppliers to ensure production goals are achieved.
