Overview


Role Purpose

Maintains federally mandated regulatory compliance for cancer research studies and Cancer Research Program statistics, and collects and reports follow-up data for cancer research studies.


Responsibilities

  • Prepares consent forms, protocols, and other necessary documents for submission of research studies to the appropriate review board.
  • Completes required follow-up date forms and reports as required by study.
  • Maintains and secures research program records, patient files, protocols, study approvals, renewals, grants and financial records.
  • Communicates with other health care team members regarding patient status on study.
  • Reviews and audits data, resolves study issues, and ensures state and federal compliance.
