Overview


Role Purpose

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and measuring public relations and marketing programs for the hospital or service organization, to accomplish their strategic business goals. Provide strategic oversight for internal and external communications, as well as marketing and PR for non-clinical departments.


Responsibilities

  • Utilizes a proper mix of marketing tools to achieve defined business objectives.
  • Oversees communications strategies in support of hospital's annual goals.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans for non-clinical departments and services in pursuit of annual goals.
  • Consults with hospital administration and leadership, as well as physician department and division leaders in the development of Public Relations and marketing strategies.
  • Identifies opportunities and analyzes needs of departments across the organization, makes recommendations and initiates programs to enhance the image of the hospital to key constituents in target market service area.
