Overview


Role Purpose

Plans, manages, and leads the strategic initiatives of the BJC Collaborative (BJCC), including current state initiatives such as collaborations with Washington University School of Medicine, virtual care, supply chain, cybersecurity, and government relations as well as additional strategic initiatives as directed by the BJCC Board. Oversees operational duties performed by the BJCC Operations Manager and administrative duties performed by the Office Manager in support of BJCC’s goals. Engages with senior executives and key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, preparing and delivering reports and providing assistance with key projects needed.


Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Develops and manages strategy associated with achieving goals and meeting deliverables, performing senior-level project management functions. Achieves buy-in and maintains engagement among stakeholders. Mitigates, manages and resolves key issues, barriers and risks. Prepares and delivers reports for key stakeholders. Manages vendor procurement, contracting, and performance.
  • Communications/Stakeholder Engagement: Serves as the primary liaison between vendors and the BJC Collaborative and is the primary point of contact for all participating health systems, facilitating effective communication among all organizational stakeholders. Prepares and delivers reports to Executive Sponsors well as to the BJCC Board. Serves as the primary liaison between the BJCC and the participating health systems, facilitating effective communication among all organizational stakeholders.
  • Financial: Responsible for directing and overseeing budgeting and invoicing processes conducted by BJCC Operations Manager and BJCC Office Manager.
  • Personnel Engagement: Key contributor in oversight of BJCC Operations Manager and BJCC Office Manager. Evaluates performance, develops professional development plans, and ensures that the productivity and actions meet/support the overall strategic and operational goals of the BJCC.
