Role Purpose

Operates and maintains the 3D printer and 3D imaging workstations. Manipulates digital medical images for clinical use, research projects, and teaching activities. Perform post-processing, segmentation and design for 3D printing on high-end 3D printers. Work closely with a clinical team to identify anatomy, design models, manufacture models, and apply quality standards to the entire process. Maintain accurate records of digital and physical 3D models for clinical use, research and education.


Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains the 3D printer and 3D imaging workstations.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations while developing understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners for design and development and manipulate digital medical images for clinical use, research projects, and teaching activities.
  • Perform post-processing, segmentation and design for 3D printing on high-end 3D printers.
  • Work closely with a clinical team to identify anatomy, design models, manufacture models, and apply quality standards to the entire process.
  • Develop, advance, improve or create 3D digital and physical models for clinical, research and educational use for sensitive, proprietary and/or other protectable data, databases, works, processes, know-how, inventions, discoveries, prototypes, creations and/or derivatives.
