Role Purpose

Provides support to the Physician Recruitment team with a focus on candidate experience as well as administration of the Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Recruitment processes. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, the PRS will leverage departmental and organizational resources to execute candidate sourcing strategies, site visit planning and coordination, training program relationship management, and facilitating the successful completion of required pre-employment processes. Reports to the Director of Physician Recruitment.


Responsibilities

  • Source physician and/or advanced practice provider candidates through multiple channels, including management of third party partnerships/relationships to meet demands of ongoing search needs. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all physician and advanced practice provider employment platforms in order to assist with candidate inquiries.
  • Maintain a current listing of all available physician and APP positions within the BJC HealthCare system as needed for reporting and/or status updates as requested. Works with the physician recruitment, marketing, and leadership teams to develop a high-impact recruitment marketing effort including web presence, literature (brochures, journal advertising, etc.) and regional or national conferences/events. Supports the overall success of candidate sourcing activities by being actively engaged in internal sourcing efforts such as web postings, career fair facilitation/attendance, conference facilitation/attendance, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a list of all regional medical training programs and build relationships with key contacts to position BJC as a regional and national leader in healthcare delivery and an employer of choice among physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Assists with the facilitation of candidate site visits including itinerary development/coordination, travel arrangements for candidate and spouse/family as appropriate, and coordination of reimbursement for any out of pocket expenses incurred by candidates.
  • Assists with gathering of documentation and/or completion of all necessary applications for credentialing and pre-hire employment screening processes including immigration documentation and relocation if applicable.
