Role Purpose

Responsible for the design and application of established methods and processes to assist users with the generation, storage, retrieval, use and sharing of biomedical information and knowledge. This role bridges the gap between business users, clinicians, scientists and IT personnel. This includes but is not limited to implementation of vended systems and development of new systems for operations and research. In addition, this position is expected to take on a lead role in project definition and execution.


Responsibilities

  • Designs and applies theories, methods and processes for the generation, storage, retrieval, use and sharing of biomedical information and knowledge.
  • Designs and applies the computing, communication and informatics science technology applications in biomedicine.
  • Designs and applies standards and best practices in the implementation and deployment of technical solutions.
  • Designs and applies the standards and best practices in the evaluation of technical solutions.
  • Participates as project lead or subject matter expert on projects and mentoring staff.

  • Minimum Requirements

     

    Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • - Health Informatics/related

     

    Experience

  • 2-5 years
