Role Purpose

Contribute to the achievement of department goals through the design, development, and implementation of program evaluation for the 11 programs and any new programs adopted by the department. Conduct and complete the Community Health Needs Assessment and implementation plan for the hospital. Track and report community outreach efforts for the Community Benefit reporting for IRS requirements.


  • Coordinates and assists in the planning and data management and analysis. Applies statistical techniques, manages statistical data sets, interprets results and creates reports. Assist in data interpretation to help department in new program development and existing program enhancement. Contributes to the design and compliance of IRB protocol and approved studies. interpretation of data to assist in new program development and existing program enhancement. Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Identifies industry best practice tools and evaluation methods. Conducts literature reviews and appropriate analysis to identify or create validated evaluation tools. .
  • Assist in design and management of databases and software programs to monitor and evaluate outcomes for all department program outcomes. Participates in the design, implementation and oversight of data collection, management and analysis for program evaluation.
  • Publishes and disseminates program findings in various formats, targeting specific audiences. Prepare and present reports to high-level audiences such as the SLCH Board of Trustees, SLCH Foundation, SLCH donors, and grant reporting requirements for private donors, private foundations, and for public funding sources such as Neighborhood Assistance Program tax-credits.
  • Conduct the Community Health Needs Assessment and implementation strategies for SLCH required by the IRS.
