The Admissions Department of Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College and the Registration Department of the College manage the admissions and subsequent enrollment of applicants. The Admissions Department fields thousands of prospective student encounters on the phone, email and in person, handle large amounts of paperwork, and log thousands of miles in travel to attend recruitment events and career fairs. The Registration Department handles all of the course enrollment, transcript management, transfer credit entry, graduation audits, and much more. Both of these offices are located on the fourth floor of Goldfarb Hall.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the technical, data and analytical aspects of the registration department. Complies with Federal and College procedures and policy. Serves as a technical resource for the college's course evaluation and degree audit system. Functions within a team of individuals dedicated to improving the effectiveness with which student record information is managed in a service oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Complies with Federal and College policies and practices that protect student information.
  • Performs ad hoc reporting. Primary contact with the third-party systems vendors for degree audit and course evaluation software for problem resolution and routine maintenance/upgrade.
  • Responds to internal and external requests for data and student information. Responsible for data entry on program requirements. Maintenance of the university's course evaluation system and some responsibility for the creation of the term evaluation projects.
  • Lead the coordination of Commencement services and other Registration events
  • Reviews external transcripts for transfer credit and performs other registration functions
