Role Purpose

Provides performance measurement and analytical support to the organization by utilizing measurement & performance improvement skills to support clinical decision-making, support performance improvement teams, identification of trends and root causes. Maintains expert knowledge of regulatory requirements as required by CMS, TJC etc. Collects data if necessary, manages databases, performs descriptive or advanced statistical analysis on data sets, and designs & creates reports. Participates & facilitates performance improvement and organizational strategic initiative teams as necessary. Provides performance measurement & regulatory education to customers.


Responsibilities

  • Serves as a key resource for questions about performance measurement and regulatory requirements specifically related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services & The Joint Commission standards.
  • Participates in and facilitates performance improvement teams and provides education to customers.
  • Improves processes to disseminate data and information to key customers.
  • Performs descriptive analyses and report generation.
