Role Purpose

This position will be responsible for implementing a service delivery model oriented toward continuous improvement and outstanding customer service with the objective of continuously improving HR operations efficiency and effectiveness as a means to enhance HR’s ability to support BJC’s goals and objectives. This role will lead in the transformation of centralizing all transactional processing within Human Resources to further develop the Tier 1 model, while also developing the Tier 0 model. Will lead the strategic management and overall operations of the HR Services team. This includes systems design, maintenance, reporting, and vendor partnerships to HR transactional processes.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Develop, lead and manage team performance responsible for Tier 0 and Tier 1 support for HR Services. Establish, analyze and hold accountable to key HR metrics, with a focus on employee experience and HR compliance. Establish a knowledge management system and knowledge content that will enable a Tier 0 capability, improving customer experience and reducing HR case load and staffing.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement throughout HR service center as business needs evolve. Develop mechanisms and metrics to ensure a quality customer experience throughout HR Services to standardize this experience. Defines service center SLAs and metrics. Evaluates aggregate service center metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and lead a stellar team of highly customer- and delivery-focused service center professionals.
  • Through partnerships with HR stakeholders including HR leadership, HR business partners and COE functions, identify, assess and implement HR service portfolio expansion opportunities to drive rapid intake and expansion of services provided by the HR Services, delivering scale across HR shared services.
