Role Purpose

Technical expertise in multiple highly specialized areas of BJC Technology Services that provides technical consulting on complex projects. Primary focus is on process analysis, re-engineering, design and simulation with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Serves as liaison between BJC Infrastructure and vendor technical contacts. Ensures Patient medical records are maintained consistently across all applications. Verifies and ensures that HIIPA compliance is maintained by ensuring that PACS environment is updated properly.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, isolates and debugs infrastructure problems and performs problem resolution. Installs Dicom connectivity on New Radiology and IT devices.
  • Ensures that Patient Information is protected and viewable across multiple types of Applications.
  • Designs and manages standards to minimize possible conflicts with other equipment and applications within the enterprise. Works with Sr. PACS Analysts to develop and monitor back up and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware, infrastructure and network systems.
  • Analyzes the results of workflow plans, monitors operating systems and recommends changes to improve processing and utilization.

    Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

  • 2-5 years
