Role Purpose

Responsible for the day to day cash management transaction of the Foundation. Scope of financial administration of 15million+. Ensures high levels of data quality, integrity and privacy. Serves as lead on major Foundation systems data which consists of detailed reporting, system updates and communicates to the Foundation staff and Finance in Shared Services as appropriate.


Responsibilities

  • Reviews and documents cash, stock, credit, wire and ACH transactions and maintains the database in addition to running and distributing reports to finance personnel.
  • Deposits, codes, records and tracks revenue and reports daily on funding operations. Acknowledges tax receipts and documentation as required by the IRS. Maintain familiarity with requirements for gift processing, receipting, reporting and reconciliation from a variety of internal and external sources (including IRS and Foundation Finance) as well as internal database requirements for storing required information.
  • Utilizes multiple web based financial software to manage records and charge processes. Analyzes the information and populates all appropriate fields where information has been provided by the gift officers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to identify, collect and analyze appropriate data for critical decision making while maintaining complete confidentiality regarding donor and foundation file information.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain database audits to ensure compliance with gift coding protocols. Handle data cleanup as needed in weekly, monthly and quarterly data review process
