Role Purpose

This position is responsible for leading the creative development and execution of personalizing the donor experience for St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation through all direct marketing channels.


  • Lead and execute all portions of our annual direct marketing campaigns across all channels including strategy, detailed planning, forecasting, creative development and execution of ongoing campaigns. Create an integrated, multi-channel experience for target audiences that drives value and meets audience expectations. Collaborate across the entire Foundation team, especially with Donor Experience & Engagement team to ensure we are aligned with and executing on the goals and priorities of the business.
  • Analyze post campaign results for campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for improved messaging, segmentation, channel, formatting and timing. Develop and implement ongoing test and learn plans to iterate and optimize, improving results month over month.
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors to implement programs and continuously challenge them to reduce cost while increasing quality, deliverability and response.
  • Work closely with Business Analyst(s) to develop an understanding of potential target audiences interested in supporting St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Map audience segments to their affinities and behaviors in order to drive engagement, conversion and retention through the delivery of personalized experiences.
  • Lead and execute the annual employee giving campaign to meet and/or exceed income and participation goals.
