Role Purpose

Serves as the top aide to a Senior Executive (GP/SVP) and their constituencies. Handles matters of policy and institutional importance on behalf of the Senior Executive and serves as a confidante. Manages special projects related to BJC Healthcare, hospital service organizations, affiliates, varying leadership teams and community leaders. This role manages a variety of tasks, projects and initiatives at the strategic and tactical level.


  • Serves as the Senior Executive's (GP/SVP) strategic liaison with leadership and staff and establishes oneself as the primary and credible representative of the office of the Senior Executive. Coordinates communication between the Senior Executive, their leadership teams and their constituencies.
  • Prepares and provides feedback on presentations, briefs, meeting agendas, documents and performs analysis in support of key deliverables for the Senior Executive.
  • Leads, identifies, participates, coordinates and advises strategic initiatives and priorities within the organization at the discretion of the Senior Executive.
  • Coordinates and integrates activities between the Senior Executive and their constituencies.
  • Oversees the monitoring process for strategic and operating plan. Coordinates and participates in efforts to identify critical strategies, measures and targets for performance monitoring in the development of a strategic operating plan.
