Role Purpose

Scrubs and monitors invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provides direct patient care and other support duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for Cardiac catheterization Lab. May also provide support for Electrophysiology procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Provides patient care in the recovery room and circulation duties under the direct supervision of the nurse.
  • Assists the physician throughout the invasive procedure using hemodynamic and x-ray equipment.
  • Scrubs for cardiac catheterization as assigned.
