Role Purpose

Ensures timely and cost effective acquisition of products, services and equipment for the organization. Provides necessary analysis and recommendations for the selection and evaluations of products, services, equipment and their sources. Serves as the central point of contact for communication and questions related to capital equipment and is responsible for working with clinicians and other end users, manufacturers and distributors to resolve any problems or conflicts.


Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely and cost effective acquisition of products, services and equipment for the system.
  • Analyzes current process and develops enhancements that allow analysis of negotiated contracts.
  • Assumes a leadership role as the procurement representative assigned to various performance improvement teams and work groups.
  • Helps manage associated budget processes.

    Degree
