Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Barnes-Jewish Hospital's staff is composed of full-time academic faculty and community physicians of Washington University School of Medicine, supported by a house staff of residents, interns, fellows and other medical professionals. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Admissions Department of Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College and the Registration Department of the College manage the admissions and subsequent enrollment of applicants. The Admissions Department fields thousands of prospective student encounters on the phone, email and in person, handle large amounts of paperwork, and log thousands of miles in travel to attend recruitment events and career fairs. The Registration Department handles all of the course enrollment, transcript management, transfer credit entry, graduation audits, and much more. Both of these offices are located on the fourth floor of Goldfarb Hall.

Role Purpose Provides admission and program information to prospective students and evaluates their academic preparation by conducting extensive file reviews to ensure that the College attracts academically talented and diverse students into the nursing programs.
