The Radiology Department at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a full-service, diagnostic center dedicated to delivering the highest quality imaging services to our patients and their physicians. We provide competent, courteous and compassionate clinical services, and respond to requests for services from patients and referring physicians promptly. Same-day-service and delivering quick results to physicians are hallmarks of our services. Missouri Baptist Medical Center provides a full-service Computed Tomography (CT) department offering all types of CT exams, including highly specialized CT Angiography that examines blood vessels in the body.

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced modality (defined as CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Cath). Assists staff technologists in prioritizing and problem solving patient care or imaging issues, and serves as a resource person. Assumes responsibilities of supervisor or manager in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and new employees.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Performs imaging procedures.
  • Supervises and assists with operations of the department.
