Role Purpose

Performs scheduling, reservation, pre-registration and verification functions that ensure a pre-certification of hospital care if required and accurate reimbursement information for billing. Ensures patients are registered in a manner compliant with all government regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Obtains complete and accurate information that enables the establishment of a medical record.
  • Coordinates workflow and staffing.

  • Minimum Requirements

     

    Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED
  •  

    Experience

  • 2-5 years
  •  

    Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

  • Associate's Degree

  • Patient Access - 2 years or more
