Our Northwest HealthCare campus, located six miles west of Christian Hospital in Florissant, offers the community 24-hour emergency care as well as a variety of outpatient services and physician practices.

The marketing and public relations department  plays an integral role in all internal and external communications blanketing physicians, employees, patients and the general public.  The department oversees all messaging, positioning and is a vital resource in service line strategic planning at Christian Hospital.  The marketing and public relations department also oversees all community outreach and health programming held on campus and throughout the communities served.

Role Purpose

Coordinates the development and implementation of internal and external digital communications and marketing channels for the hospital, system or service organization as assigned. Possesses advanced technical proficiency in current digital communications and marketing platforms.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating system web sites; researching web technology trends; collaborating with clients on new web presence; initiating client web sites; collaborating clients , vendors, management and across departments in successful project completion.
  • Monitor, analyze and report and manage paid search, website traffic, email, social media metrics.
  • Coordinates the management and makes recommendations regarding trends in digital and social media applications to advance BJC communications and marketing strategies and execute digital marketing strategies when necessary.
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing tactics including but not limited to digital/display marketing, PPC, email strategy, CMS management, SEO/SEM, HTML, and social media.
  • Updates clients, vendors, supervisor, and/or manager on status of all projects via departmental project management tool.
