IS Security Services serves as an independent, objective catalyst for implementing effective and efficient controls to protect BJC HealthCare (BJC) information resources through collaboration with customers. We provide value to our customers and the organization by: Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations; evaluating information system and application controls; educating BJC employees and other strategic partners on information systems security practices and concepts; acting as a resource on security controls for new and existing information systems and applications; recovering mission critical applications and data vital to the organization and strategic partners; investigating practices not in compliance with established BJC Information Services security policies and standards.

Role Purpose

The Service Delivery Manager will understand specific area(s) of BJC’s IT security, applications or infrastructure, together with substantive experience in managing outcomes of supplier-based delivery of those services, to ensure effective delivery and/or change/enhancement to those services in order to meet or exceed BJC business expectations for those services, while achieving appropriate balance between quality of outcomes, risk to BJC systems and customers, and the life cycle cost of those services.


Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier service delivery and performance on a day-to-day basis, driving resolution to issues escalated from suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance of supplier delivery within scope of responsibility, in accordance with defined service levels, security practices/guidelines, and relevant technology standards.
  • Understand business expectations, success factors (e.g., KPIs) and performance characteristics for products and services (e.g., end user satisfaction with services).
  • Manage supplier service delivery and performance leveraging SLAs to drive resolution for product or service issues.
  • Broker effective communication between suppliers and BJC groups as necessary to develop resolution to systematic/pervasive issues.
