Role Purpose

Provides strategic leadership and consultation in operational and financial analysis for CCE. Responsible for portfolio management for all of CCE, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of projects and initiatives, as well as manage timelines and program deliverables. Analyzes and manages risks and interdependencies across projects and formulates plausible solutions in consultation with stakeholders. Manages resolution of roadblocks, issues, and conflicts. Assists CCE leaders in developing strategic direction regarding operating models in response to organizational requirements for project, program, portfolio and continuous improvement efforts. Provides expert advice and contribution for rollouts, implementation and development of sustainment/control plans for solutions. Utilizes project/program/portfolio management in combination with continuous improvement/transformation in operations in order to accomplish business objectives. Management of CCE operational budgets in conjunction with department leaders. Has financial responsibility to determine best value approach for services and support. Identifies and implements strategies to enhance efficiencies, reduce waste and costs in the management of human and material resources.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Directs and manages the operating and capital budgeting processes for the department, including the monitoring of actual costs against these budgets. Manages and maintains portfolio level budget through cost management, vendor management and efficient resource utilization. Ensure tracking of key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project.
  • Manages operations, including setting expectations and oversight for areas such as administration support, function coordination and meeting planning, engagement survey administration, office space planning and design. Integrates services within the work unit and with other departments. Assists PCS leaders in developing strategic direction regarding operating models in response to BJC senior leadership and organizational requirements for project, program, portfolio and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversees portfolio management and project deliverables to ensure alignment of CCE initiatives and maintenance of timelines and deliverables. Provides expert advice and contribution for rollouts, implementation and development of sustainment/control plans for solutions. Utilizes outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills and an ability to work effectively with people at all levels within an organization. Develops overarching strategies related to portfolio optimization to govern the portfolio and set a foundation for master plans and individual asset strategies. Identifies opportunities for portfolio optimization, cost saving and improved ROI in the PCS portfolio.
