Progress West HealthCare Center opened in February 2007 in one of the fastest-growing areas of St. Charles County. Progress West uses hospital design, clinical practices and technology to support the delivery of patient-centered care.

 

The finance department supports all the departments in the hospital in the budget process as well as with monthly metrics and charges to assist with expense management and revenue capture. This department, along with all departments within the hospital, supports the guiding principles of the hospital in providing care that is customized and reflects the patient's needs, values, and choices.

Role Purpose

Ensures the effective supervision and operation of Finance, Registration, Health Information and departments. Responsible for the timely, effective and accurate reporting of the financial results of the hospital and related entities.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Assists leadership and departments in understanding the financial performance of the organization, using financial data to assist in making operational decisions.
  • Ensures the timely completion and analysis of the monthly financial results for the organization.
  • Oversee the preparation and development of operating and capital budgets, as well as the long range financial plan.

  • Minimum Requirements

     

    Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • - Accounting/Finance/related

     

    Experience

  • 5-10 years
  •  

    Supervisor Experience

  • 2-5 years
