Role Purpose

Serve as lead business analyst for HR systems. Partner with business leaders to identify and bring strategic initiatives from concept to implementation. Serve on leadership team to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft HCM system. Present system capabilities to stakeholders and assist with adoption and implementation planning. Measure and audit system use. Recommend areas of optimization. Lead overall system architecture and design as well as integration with related systems. Lead and mentor HR Business Process Team analysts on BA techniques and standards. Lead data management efforts ensuring data integrity to support business enablement and intelligence.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead business analyst for HR system maintenance, enhancements, adoption, user satisfaction, projects, and programs. Partner with HR to understand goals, elicit requirements and develop highly effective solutions. Ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable and aligned with organizational strategy. Provide cost vs. benefit analysis. Consult with HR on related systems, processes, downstream impacts, and change management to ensure holistic solutions. Ensure solutions have a high level of usability and provide appropriate controls for policy adherence and data integrity. Manage scope and requirements. Ensure solutions are fully tested by all stakeholders. Communicate risks, assumptions, and status along the way to ensure stakeholder understanding and buy in. Develop and document requirements, functional design, process flows and test plans. Partner with the business to develop training plans and materials. Monitor solutions once implemented. Measure effectiveness of system and processes. Make adjustments as needed and capture EBIs for constant improvement.
  • Partner with HR Leadership, subject matter experts and other stakeholders. Ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement and support for initiatives. Work with business leaders to identify and bring strategic initiatives from concept to implementation, validation of benefits realization and return on investment. Work as a liaison between stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of BJC. Define and validate solutions to meet business goals, needs, and objectives. Assist business with setting priorities. Work to facilitate communication between groups. Play a central role in aligning the needs of the business units with system capabilities and related processes.
  • Serve on leadership team to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft HCM system. Remain up to date on current and emerging system capabilities and industry trends. Present system capabilities to stakeholders and assist with adoption and implementation planning. Measure and audit system use. Consult with HR on change management and ongoing sustainment. Recommend areas of optimization. Lead overall system architecture and design as well as integration with related systems. Remain knowledgeable on HR technologies. Research new techniques in the use of technology to support business goals and maintain knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields related to HRIS.
  • Lead and mentor HR Business Process Team analysts on BA techniques and standards. Develop standard templates for the team. Provide assistance with solution design and review. Serve as BA Program Lead.
  • Lead data management efforts ensuring data integrity to support business enablement and intelligence. Design system solutions that ensure ease of use as well as data integrity. Assist with setting standards for data management. Demonstrate expertise in underlying data structures and ability to extract meaningful and accurate data. Develop an in-depth understanding of BJC data. Identify areas of concern and recommend solutions.
