Cost Reimbursement continuously improves the reimbursement process for BJC HealthCare. Responsible for third-party reimbursement with responsibilities for cost report review, fiscal intermediary interaction, regulatory review and system wide analyses involving third-party reimbursement.

Role Purpose

Oversees and directs reimbursement matters including third-party filings, financial reporting and financial/reimbursement analysis.


Responsibilities

  • Prepares, reviews and submits third-party cost reports and other required filings.
  • Prepares and reviews differential calculations, including balance sheet and income statement account analysis.
  • Coordinates third-party payer audit process, including the review and analysis of proposed adjustments.
  • Analyzes current and proposed third party regulations to assess financial impact.
  • Directs the implementation of new regulations.

  • Minimum Requirements

     

    Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • - Accounting/Business/related

     

    Experience

  • 5-10 years
  •  

    Supervisor Experience

  • < 2 years
