The Admit Holding Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital provides treatment and services to med surge patients. The Staff Nurse (RN) in the Admit Holding Unit admits and treats patients transferred from the Emergency Department, and transfers the patient to the designated division when a bed is available.
