The Sourcing Team supports talent acquisition by proactively identifying and engaging talent, while promoting the employee value proposition and generating interest in joining the organization.  The team builds pipelines of candidates using creative strategies including outreach initiatives, social networking, candidate management platforms, and market research.

Role Purpose

This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to attract, engage and hire a diverse, highly-qualified and culturally-aligned employee base across BJC. Utilizing the BJC Talent Network, will creatively source, assess and select qualified candidates to be referred as potential applicants for current career opportunities. Develop candidate outreach campaigns to network and build relationships to cultivate a talent pipeline. Researches industry trends and utilize labor market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing.


  • Responsible for successful candidate management through use of a CRM and strive to meet BJC’s diversity and recruitment annual metrics and goals. Continually develop and implement proactive, innovative and dynamic sourcing strategies to meet changing staffing demands.
  • Build productive partnerships, with strong influencing skills, at all levels of management to gain the trust as a knowledgeable talent consultant/solution provider.
  • Act as the subject matter expert related to the BJC employee referral program to drive hiring and processing of key referral talent throughout the system, tapping into the BJC alumni network, connection groups and veterans organizations. Lead efforts with silver medalist, boomerang hires and referrals.
  • Collaborate with vendors to produce timely and meaningful data, analysis, metrics and dashboards to inform effective talent-related decisions.
  • Assist in the development of strategic recruiting/employer branding advertising strategies, best practices and other specialized recruiting materials to achieve maximum usage of our CRM tool.
