Role Purpose

Provides extensive leadership and direction to specialty and primary care medical practices.


Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Coordinates with leadership and the on-boarding physician or practice to ensure operational best practices and service excellence standards are developed and maintained.
  • Recommends, develops and updates strategic business plans to support the organization's and practice's goals.
  • Leads the start-up team in analyzing, preparing, recruiting and maintaining on-boarding budgeted costs for the new practices.
  • Works as a liaison between providers, employees, and administration.
  • Supports the recruitment and transitional activities of primary and specialty care physicians and other providers within the hospital‘s market.

    Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree
